San Francisco bans sale of bottled water... though primarily for reducing the plastic waste created by the bottles. It inspired me to write this one on bottling water.
Where the water is a basic human right and needed for life
Where it is a part of nature
Where it has not been packed into plastic bottles
By every major corporation
Where it is still available to all
Despite access at tireless distances
Where governments have not lost their way
Into the big bogs of greed
Where citizens still strive to see
How clean water can be free
Into
that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.
